VUMC Radiology is happy to welcome Scott Morris, MD, back to our team as he joins our Community Radiology section as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Morris, who completed his residency in diagnostic radiology here at VUMC, is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. After finishing his training here in Nashville, he went on to serve as a Staff Diagnostic Radiologist with the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where he stayed until 2023.

During that time, he was part of Operation Covid-19, acting as a Division Officer overseeing a team of radiology personnel during the onset of the pandemic, and also served as the Academic Section Head for abdominal and pelvic imaging. In 2022, he began moonlighting with Advanced Diagnostic Imaging, eventually joining as a full-time physician in 2023 where he served as a general radiologist.

We are excited that Dr. Morris has chosen to join us once again at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
