Dear breast imaging specialists,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to our Annual Scientific Meeting, which will be held in Aberdeen in Scotland, from September 25 to 27, 2025. This year’s meeting is organized in collaboration with the British Society of Breast Radiology (BSBR).
Using the positive feedback received from participants from previous meetings we strive to maintain the same high quality educational meeting bringing delegates the latest guidelines, imaging techniques and research findings. We aim to create an exceptional experience for all attendees offering networking opportunities as well as the the chance to meet old friends and forge new collaborations.
While we are focused on achieving strong in-person attendance, allowing attendees to experience both the scientific and social aspects of EUSOBI, we will also be live-streaming the main programme for those unable to travel to Aberdeen and support the EUSOBI green initiative of sustainability in breast imaging.
As in previous years, this meeting will be preceded by our EUSOBI Breast MRI Training Course. Young radiologists are crucial to the future of our field, and with this in mind, we are excited to once again announce the EUSOBI Young Club Symposium, which will take place on the morning of Thursday, September 25. This session offers young radiologists the opportunity to engage with experts and discuss various professional topics.
The highlights of this year’s meeting will feature:
– Image guided de-escalation
– Screening – supplemental / when to start and when to stop
– AI- from gadget to gain
– EUSOBI Guidelines and recommendations
– Patient Journey
– Staging and response assessment
– Multidisciplinary Team case discussion
– Contrast Enhanced Mammography
We are proud to present 2 distinguished keynote speakers:
Prof. Francesco Sardanelli from Italy who will present the final results from the MIPA study, and Prof. David Lurie, from Aberdeen, who will talk about MRI in Aberdeen – Past, Present and Future. As part of our commitment to building connections with other societies, EUSOBI will be meeting with Mexican breast radiologists this year.
Scotland is a beautiful country with amazing history and traditions. We plan to celebrate these during the meeting!
We look forward to seeing you in Aberdeen!!
