“Welcome to National Diagnostic Imaging Symposium 2025! Delivered by the leaders in the field, we are excited to present this comprehensive five-day symposium at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in sunny, beautiful Florida. The in-depth lectures – geared toward diagnostic radiologists in clinical practice – packed with up-to-date approaches to diagnosis and treatment pathways. We have brought back the popular Emergency Radiology track and added a dedicated Ultrasound day featuring the latest information on ultrasound ranging from Ob/Gyn applications to applications in the GI and GU tracts. The sessions also include PET scanning for the practicing radiologist to help understand its role in clinical practice and especially Oncology today. Finally cutting edge topics like AI are discussed as they begin to have an impact on all of our clinical practices. All sessions also include ample time set aside for questions and answers, and for you to informally meet with the faculty. We promise you an unforgettable learning experience and look forward to having you join us.” – Elliot K. Fishman
OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course attendees will be able to:
- Increase your diagnostic capabilities in multiple radiology subspecialties including Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Ultrasound, Oncologic Imaging and Emergency Radiology.
- Utilize CT and MRI to assess injury and disease in the brain, bony skeleton and internal organs and organ systems.
- Effectively use MDCT and MR imaging to evaluate the GI tract including the liver, pancreas, spleen and bowel.
- Plan the appropriate imaging of emergency department adult and pediatric patients, and understand how to optimize study interpretation and patient triage.
- Understand how to interpret high-resolution CT (HRCT) scans for a range of interstitial lung diseases as well as how to use HRCT in patient management.
- Understand how to utilize non-invasive imaging options such as CT, MR and ultrasound for the evaluation of cardiovascular disease ranging from the coronary arteries to the aorta and to the carotid arteries.
- Understand the role of CT and MRI for a range of neurologic pathologies ranging from stroke to tumor imaging.
- Understand the role of ultrasound in current imaging paradigms and understand how to optimize protocols and scan interpretation.
- Learn how to optimize scan protocols and learn about potential pitfalls in classic clinical applications including hematuria, GI bleeding and the incidental adrenal mass.
- Enhance understanding of the use and limitations of PET/CT in current oncologic applications and its role with CT and MRI Imaging in clinical practice.
- Learn the status of AI in radiology today - including its role in current clinical practice, as well as its potential impact over the next few years.
