CHILI returns even hotter on October 25
After the huge success of the first edition, CHILI – the Conference on Hybrid Imaging Live – returns with its unique online-only conference format. On October 25, from 10:00-16:00 (CEST), four sessions each consisting of 3 lectures will be live-streamed from a studio in Vienna that was specifically set up for CHILI. At the end of each session, there will be a short round table discussion including all speakers of the respective session. There will be no audience on site, but viewers will be able to ask questions via an online tool.
A professional moderator will lead through the conference, ask questions and initiate discussions amongst the panels. In between sessions, there will be a break of 5 minutes in which interesting clips and videos will be shown.
The conference is free of charge and an accreditation request for 5 credits was made with the UEMS.
Learning Objectives
- to learn the principles of hybrid medical imaging
- to learn the key clinical questions at different points in the patient’s journey
- to understand the indications, limitations and comparative merits of each part in hybrid medical imaging in a wide range of oncologic and non-oncologic conditions, including prostate cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer as well as inflammation and infection.
- to appreciate the complementary roles of structural and functional/molecular imaging in cancer management
- to understand how information derived from imaging guides patient selection for treatment and supports individualised treatment planning
- to learn about advanced applications of hybrid imaging, such as theranostics, new radiopharmaceuticals and machine learning in hybrid imaging
Programme
The four sessions at CHILI are ascending in level, tailored to your own degree of expertise and interests.
All sessions include 3 lectures of approx. 20 minutes and end with a round table discussion. There will be enough time to ask questions during the conference.
Please note that the programme is still subject to change.
