The journal Anaesthesia

Anaesthesia is the official journal of the Association of Anaesthetists, and the number one anaesthetic journal in the world

For over 70 years Anaesthesia has published original, peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of anaesthesia, from intensive care and pain therapy, to equipment research.

Anaesthesia is aimed at consultants and trainees in all branches of anaesthesia, intensive care medicine (including specialists from other disciplines), pain therapy, and non-medics working in these areas.

Members of the Association receive a free subscription to Anaesthesia as part of their benefits package, which includes access to Wiley Online.

Educational events

As well as conferences, online seminars and online core topics we also provide a number of other educational resources including guidelines, webinars and Learn@ - the online learning platform for Association members, where you'll find a wealth of educational and CPD resources.

Our Basic TTE course, and Perioperative Ultrasound course, are now available, designed to provide a good understanding in basic transthoracic echocardiography and perioperative ultrasound.
