The development of the topic of ultrasound has in recent years in our professional society approved rapid forms. After a long and intensive preparatory work, the DGAI Scientific Working Group "Ultrasound in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine" on the occasion of the DAC 2011. Meanwhile more than 200 members work in this working group. Many of these members are simultaneously active in the Section Anaesthesiology DEGUM.

Ultrasonic methods are thus firmly anchored in our field. Against this background, training in ultrasound-controlled punctures and decreases. Ultrasound diagnosis for anaesthetists and anaesthesiologists increasingly important one.

Since early 2012, we offer a proven didactic concept a focused training at which you are the participant. The contextual framework is through the requirement catalogue of the DEGUM (German society for ultrasound medicine) and the DGAI (German Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care) specified are important to us in one if possible interdisciplinary approach, a strong practical orientation and a high proportion of practical exercises.
