About the Summit

For nearly 14 years, Cleveland Clinic Innovations has hosted the Medical Innovation Summit as a way to bring together all stakeholders in healthcare to advance the conversation of medical innovation. The Summit is part of Cleveland Clinic’s commitment to drive healthcare innovation and quality. In this time of reform and restructuring, Cleveland Clinic believes it is essential that innovation remain at the core in the delivery of medical care.

Now in its 14th year, the Summit is renowned for thought-provoking panels, lively 1-on-1 discussions with influential CEOs, and the discovery of the latest market-ready technologies poised to shake up the status quo. Many consider the Summit as the place for healthcare leaders to discuss and generate innovative solutions for the transformation of healthcare.

Who Attends?

The Summit brings 1,700 healthcare global investors, clinicians and technologists to the Cleveland Convention Center each Fall to discuss new technologies and network with other innovative organizations. The Summit is designed for individuals interested in forging new relationships, participating in dynamic discussions to solve some of the biggest health challenges of our time, and keeping innovation an absolute priority in healthcare. It attracts:

  • Industry leaders in Pharma, Devices, and Health Information Technology
  • Venture capitalists, angel investors and investment bankers
  • Early stage company founders, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs
  • Professionals from private and public payers
  • Providers, researchers and technology transfer professionals
  • Clinical, medical affairs, regulatory and business development executives
  • Consultants, attorneys and other service providers

Why Attend

In addition to discussing the latest breakthroughs each year, the Medical Innovation Summit aims to actively set the landscape and plant the seeds for the next disruptive technologies. This is done by not only strengthening the traditional relationships of those that work hand in hand (investors & entrepreneurs, providers & payers, academia & industry), but also by initiating new conversations among individuals and organizations that may not normally cross paths. These unlikely intersections are typically where things get interesting…

So rather than wait for chance encounters, come to Cleveland this October to build and strengthen the relationships needed to advance patient care now.
