Dr Simon Peck is a specialist in health fraud waste and abuse with 20 years experience in health insurance. He was one of the founders of the health insurance counter-fraud group www.hicfg.com which represents investigators working in the health insurance industry and whilst chair was involved in the set-up of the GHCAN. He has managed a number of high profile investigations some of which have received national press coverage including the investigation of payments from hospitals to doctors in return for referrals many of which were subsequently made illegal.
