Nicola Bedlington was the first Secretary General of the European Patients’ Forum (2006–2019) and founding Director of the European Disability Forum (1996–1999). She worked for the European Commission on disability policy (1991–1996) and led an OECD initiative on education for sustainable development. In 2020, she founded Millwater Partners, advising on health, sustainability and patient engagement. She works with patient organisations, medical societies and industry on patient engagement and advocacy.
