• Alessandro Roncacci

    Dr. Alessandro Roncacci joined Affidea in 2019 as the Country Clinical Director for Italy. In this role, he led the clinical agenda and was instrumental in implementing new clinical products, significantly advancing Affidea Italy's development. In June 2020, he assumed the role of Interim Chief Medical Officer for the Affidea Group. Dr. Roncacci has 15 years of experience as a radiologist and holds a Ph.D. in Surgical Physiopathology and Gastroenterology from the University of "La Sapienza." Prior to joining Affidea, he worked at Sant'Andrea University Hospital and San Camillo - Forlanini Public Hospital in Rome, specializing in Emergency Radiology, Breast Imaging, CT, NMR, and US integrated imaging. His work has been presented at numerous national and international conferences, earning recognition through impactful reports and abstracts. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Roncacci holds a master's degree in Healthcare Management from SDA Bocconi University in Milan. He is an expert in resource management and outsourcing services in radiology and has been actively involved with the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM) and the National Radiologists Society (SNR) in these fields.
