• Alessandro Roncacci

    Dr Alessandro Roncacci joined Affidea in 2019 as Country Clinical Director. Besides leading clinical agenda in Italy, he was responsible for the implementation of new clinical products accelerating the development of Affidea Italy. Since June 2020, Dr. Roncacci took over the role of Chief Medical Officer Interim for Affidea Group. Dr Roncacci has 15 years of experience as radiologist and holds a Ph.D. in Surgical Physiopathology and Gastroenterology at the University "La Sapienza". Before joining Affidea, Dr Roncacci worked in Sant'Andrea University Hospital and San Camillo - Forlanini Public Hospital Rome, focusing on Emergency Radiology, Breast Imaging, CT, NMR and US integrated Imaging. He has presented his work at several national and international conferences through impressive reports and abstracts. Apart from his medical education, Dr Roncacci holds a master's degree in Healthcare Management from SDA of Bocconi University Milano. He is an expert in resource management and outsourcing services in radiology, previously involved by SIRM and SNR in these specific fields.
