Dr Elikem Tamaklo is the Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, a leading healthcare provider in Ghana and the first private Group Medical Practice in the country. Since 2015, he has driven the digital transformation of the Hospital as well as the accreditation of the hospital by the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons to train Family Physicians. He launched the Healthcare Forum in 2015, an annual forum bringing together key decision makers from the public and private sectors to promote quality and safety in healthcare. Dr Elikem Tamaklo has won many awards including the AABLA Young Business Leader of the Year 2018 and the Ghana Entrepreneur’s Foundation 2015 Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Dr Tamaklo holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, amongst others.
