• Luis Carretero Alcántara

    Doctor in Economics graduated from the University of Malaga. Currently Managing Director of Marina Salud, concession company managining the Health Department of Denia. Luis Carretero has been working in managerial positions in the hospital enviroment since 1993. As a director, developed and supported different initiatives for reforms of public healthcare sector in Spain: as a Consultant and as a Director of Management in the start-up of the Costa del Sol Hospital, as a Public company; as a Managing Director of the Alcorcón Hospital, as a Foundation; as a Managing Director of the University Hospital Son Dureta, traditional public management model; as a Managing Director of the Hospital Son Espases, PPP model known as 'grey gown.’ He was also part of the regional government health services, e.g. Director of Management and Planning at the Balearic Health Service and Managing Director at the Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha. Professor of the Andalusian School of Public Health and participated in several master degrees in different parts of Spain.
