Aligned Medical Solutions (AMS) was born out of a merger between Custom Medical Products and Windstone Medical Packaging in 2010. The merger brought together two of the preeminent custom procedure tray manufacturers based in the United States. The strength of the combined companies has allowed AMS to achieve 20% plus growth for each of the last three years. Below is a brief history of the companies that came together to form AMS. Custom Medical Products began in 1994 in Apopka, FL as Austin CMP. After years and years of growth, Austin CMP became an attractive acquisition target. In 2008 a group of investors purchased CMP. Since 2008 CMP experienced incredible growth into the hospital and surgery center markets. In 2010 CMP sought out additional capacity and found Windstone Medical Packaging. CMP found a partner in Windstone and eventually merged the operations.
