Company Profile ABOUT US Today belonging to the biggest and most researching faculties within Germany, the Medical Faculty of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster was (re)founded in 1925. The research profile is clearly structured in five research foci, but there are also other fortes such as imaging. The modularized curriculum and the Studienhospital Münster clearly show, that the Medical Faculty is highly innovative when it comes to education. About 1900 researchers, among them 110 professors, contribute to the scientific output of the faculty. The deanery supports their work by intensive promotion of young and experienced researchers. The closest cooperation partner is naturally the University Hospital of Münster (UKM) with a capacity of 1425 beds, which is a landmark in university high-performance medicine.
