Department of Biomedical Engineering, Strathclyde University As one of the oldest and best-respected Departments of Biomedical Engineering in the world, the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the University of Strathclyde, in Scotland, UK, offers world-leading research, Knowledge Exchange (e.g. Consultancy, Facilities Access), and training. The Department is active in diagnostics, cardiovascular devices, rehabilitation, assisted living, prosthetics, orthotics, drug delivery, biomaterials, cell/tissue/organ engineering, neuroprosthetics, digital health. It is open to contract and collaborative research with industry and the clinical community via a variety of funding mechanisms. Staff have developed / are developing technology on the above areas, and related Knowledge Transfer opportunities are available.
