Company overview Sooma is developing non-invasive neuromodulation devices for treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Our company offices are located in Helsinki Finland. Sooma is an ISO13485 and ISO9001 certified company. Products Sooma manufactures the only tDCS device approved for routine clinical treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), or 'major depression'. Our device has regulatory approvals in the EU (CE-mark) and Malaysia with other countries and other clinical indications following soon. The treatment by Sooma tDCS is non-invasive, painless and very well tolerated by the patients. Sooma tDCS can be used as a standalone treatment for patients who do not tolerate antidepressant pharmaceuticals due to e.g. side-effects, or as an adjunct therapy to pharmaceutical treatment or cognitive therapy. Sooma tDCS device is targeted for clinical routine use with unique design features, such as simplified user interface and solutions for reproducible dose delivery.
