The MBR Optical Systems GmbH & Co. KG was founded in late 2007 in Wuppertal. The products haemo spect ^® andbili spect ^® were developed based on a globally unique technology: the reflection spectroscopy. Not only development, marketing and sales, but also the production is 100% "Made in Germany".

The production facility of the MBR is integrated into the production of the Schmersal Group in Wuppertal. Ie., MBR is benefiting from the high production competence, experience and the Qualitiätskontrolle in-house. The remaining suppliers consist of businesses established in Germany almost exclusively. We attach great importance to the widest possible traceability of all our components and our suppliers are checked in regular audits.
