Our instruments trace their roots back to the mid 1930s — back to an automotive engine analyzer utilizing a thermal conductivity detector, or TCD. This first product, in turn, led to the development of a variety of TCDs and binary gas analyzers, such as those for the analysis of air in H2 and the comparison of natural vs. manufactured gas.
Today, our line of gas analysis solutions is extensive. Depending on the targeted application, GOW-MAC gas chromatographs and gas analyzers may use TCD, PID (PhotoIonization Detection), FID (Flame Ionization Detection), FPD (Flame Photometric Detection), HFADD (High Frequency Argon Discharge Detector), colorimetric, or electro-optical detection to provide solutions for a wide range of applications.
