Since 1932, the German company GIMMI® GmbH, located in Tuttlingen, manufactures medical instruments and devices. GIMMI®‘s major field lies in the endoscopic technology – above all the company offers market-leading products for the minimal and micro invasive surgery.

In the year 2003, GIMMI® won the international design price „red dot award for outstandig product and design quality”. 2004 there was another nomination – honour and further motivation for the product developers. The outstanding success as well as the continuous growth of the company resulted in a partnership with the Mexican company Grupo Vitalmex S.A. de C.V. „Surgical technology adapted to life“, the slogan of GIMMI®, shows that for the company’s philosophy customer satisfaction is very important: Not only the surgeon, who is working with the GIMMI® instruments, but mostly the patient should be happy at the end.
