The company was founded by Emil Lange Sen. in Engelskirchen in 1919 and started with the reconditioning and production of steel burs. The Emil Lange Zahnbohrerfabrik was one of the world's first companies to develop the manufacture of carbide-tipped drills in 1953.

 

The objectives of the company were and still are to manufacture and market high-quality rotary instruments and tools for dental, medical and industrial applications and for jewellery-making. One of the corporate objectives is also to satisfy the demands and expectations of our customers.
