Prior to establishing Eagle Innovations Dan Kirkwood served his country as a Marine dedicated to supporting the military through his extensive computer training. Dan served his country in the Marines for close to 9 years, and after his departure, continued to work with the government in various roles through NASA, the CIA, the Department of Defense, the State Department, and the Executive Office of the President. While serving with the Department of Defense, Dan received many medals for his efforts in pioneering computer work.

After Dan’s government positions he accepted an offer for the position of CIO at Geisinger Hospital in Pennsylvania; a 600 bed facility. Dan had a highly successful career at Geisinger, and while at Geisinger, developed a deep passion for improving patient care through HIT (Health Information Technology).

The next position Dan accepted was that of the National Director of Technology for HBOC, now McKesson. Dan worked at McKesson for years before leaving to start his own company.
