The DySIS Colposcope uses a patented technology originally developed by Dr K. Balas (who also founded the company) called Dynamic Spectral Imaging. It is CE marked and has been cleared to market by the US Food & Drugs Administration under the 510(k) programme.

The DySIS Colposcope has been the subject of many clinical trials in several different countries (click here for details) each of which has demonstrated the safety, efficacy and contribution to cervical screening.
