The company was first registered in the UK in 2001 under the name of Komedic, but this was changed in February 2002 to DongBang Acupuncture (EU) Ltd and trading as DongBang AcuPrime as a clearer representation of our links with our parent company in Korea and the nature of our business. We import high quality acupuncture needles, moxa products, cupping sets, electro-acupuncture equipment and related products, and supply both the wholesale and retail market.

DongBang acupuncture needles are renowned worldwide for their ‘pine-needle’ shaped points. Automated grinding and polishing lines result in reliable consistency of production quality. DongBang Acupuncture has three factories, two in Korea and one in China and also one moxa factory. In addition they are supplied with other products by sister companies. High quality products are produced and sold at reasonable prices.
