The Danish Rehab Group We create tomorrow’s assistive technology products and services designed for people with disabilities. The Danish Rehab Group is the trade association of manufacturers and suppliers of assistive technology products and disabled care services. DRG was established in 1981 and consists of 80 members, most of them small and medium-sized enterprises manufacturing and supplying a wide range of products and services intended for disabled persons and their helpers.

The export accounts for 2/3 of the total production of the industry. The rehab industry is an active and export-oriented sector with a growing market potential in Denmark and, especially, abroad. Owing to major changes on the home and export markets the individual enterprise and the industry in general are facing important challenges. Consequently, they need a well-working and enterprising trade association to meet these challenges.

DRG is the unifying factor of the assistive technology industry and represents a large number of manufacturers, distributors and other enterprises engaged in services, education and exhibitions relating to the industry. DRG focuses on two primary subjects: To safeguard the interests of the assistive technology industry and to serve as the collective voice of the industry in relation to the many public and private parties influencing the framework conditions of the sector. To offer services and consultancy to its members in matters of general and individual interest.
