Changchun SinoBiomaterials Co., Ltd was founded in April 2007. It is mainly engaged in the manufacture of biodegradable polymer materials for medical applications, as well as the development and industrialization of the downstream products, such as L-lactide (L-LA), glycolic acid (GA), poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA), poly(glycolic acid) (PGA), poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL), monomethoxyl poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(lactic acid)(mPEG-PLA) , Poly(D,L-lactide) (PDLLA) and their copolymers, as well as absorbable internal fixation devices for fracture including bone screws and bone plates, tissue engineering scaffolds for bone repair, materials for sustained drug delivery, etc.

Our company occupies an area of 10,000 meter square with a total investment of 33.55 million yuan. There are an integrated experimental building and a production workshop in accordance with GMP standards, both occupying 3,500 meter square. Over 90% of the employees in our company hold college degrees. The main management staffs have studied aboard for years. Changchun SinoBiomaterials Co., Ltd is technically supported by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Science and Technology Innovation Centre for poly(lactic acid)-based biodegradable materials of Jilin Province and the Science and Technology Innovation Centre for poly(lactic acid)-based biomaterials of Changchun City were founded jointly by SinoBiom and CIAC in 2007 and 2009, respectively.
