Brittan Healthcare (Pty) Limited, became a subsidiary of GMS Healthcare (Pty) Limited, following the acquisition of Brittan Healthcare in 2010, and subsequent relocation of both businesses to a state-of-the-art facility in Linbro Park, Gauteng, it was decided that Brittan Healthcare consumable manufacturing division (medical devices) will be integrated into GMS Healthcare, capitalising on the national infrastructure and distribution network. In doing so, we are ensuring a more effective structure to exploit business opportunities in the medical device sector whilst aligning with the accelerated growth focus of the GMS Healthcare organisation. The Board of Directors of the holding company has mandated the integration of both organisations, and confidently endorses the growth strategies and alignment of the Brittan Healthcare and GMS Healthcare respectively. Both organisations enjoy a Level 2 BEE rating and ISO accreditation.

Brittan Healthcare (Pty) Limited will continue to exist as a specialised equipment sales, marketing and service company, with a full complement of qualified service technicians. This is a very exciting time for our organisation and we firmly believe that we are extremely well positioned to forge ahead as a more dynamic company, focused on executing our future strategy and growing our business for our mutual benefit.
