ABOUT US Who we are Based in the heart of the Rhone-Alpes region, between Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble, ASTRA has the high performance technical means necessary to manufacture customised products requiring high frequency welding, silk screen marking, customised technical cutting. Our history : Since 1925, ASTRA has manufactured components for the footwear industry. Since 1972 ASTRA has built up a significant machine park for high frequency welding and has become the French leader for high frequency assemblies, silkscreen marking and customised cutting with press. Since then, we have been assembling technical components in flexible materials for the orthopaedic, paramedical and personal safety sectors. ASTRA's production : ASTRA has production facilities in France, including a study office, a technical production team savvy in technologies for preparing and manufacturing flexible technical materials. ASTRA focuses on the added value of its teams and technical infrastructures by training the teams in latest assembly techniques and cutting of flexible materials: HF welding, silkscreen marking, cutting A FACON sur presse, digital and laser cutters. In the workshops of over 3000m², advanced equipment can quickly make precise cuts, HR welding with automatic printing carousels, customised cutting and shaping of semi-rigid materials. Our quality approach : ASTRA's entire manufacturing process has been ISO 9001 certified since 2006.
