The company Steiner-Pinzetten GmbH (until 2010 Artur Steiner GmbH) is one of the largest manufacturers of forceps for medical and dental needs in Germany. We are a family business, the company is owned by the founders Artur and Erika Steiner and their sons Gerhard and Thomas Steiner.

Artur Steiner founded the company in 1955 as a sole proprietorship for the production and sale of surgical instruments and medical devices. The focus was quickly placed on the production of forceps; the other business segments were discontinued.

The company rapidly developed into a leading mass manufacturer and supplier of forceps. In 1974, today’s company building in Engen had undergone some extensions and was ready for occupancy.
