ACD Elektronik: Innovative electronics for mobile devices ACD Elektronik GmbH, a company of ACD Group, is both a manufacturer and a system service provider in the fields of mobile data collection for retail, logistics and food industry, industrial electronics and solutions for energy and social markets. Besides ACD Elektronik GmbH, ACD Group consists of ACD Systemtechnik GmbH, ACD Antriebstechnik GmbH and ACD Czech s.r.o. and is represented at two different locations in Germany and one location in the Czech Republic.

ACD Elektronik GmbH in its current form was founded in 1976 in Achstetten (Ulm) by Karl-Heinz Andes, Johann Bolkart and Fritz Guther. 15 years later, ACD Systemtechnik GmbH based in Neustadt (Orla) was founded in 1991 by the Managing Directors of ACD Elektronik GmbH and Hartmut Wengel. ACD Antriebstechnik was founded in 1996 in Neustadt (Orla) and ACD Czech s.r.o. in 2015. Achstetten and Neustadt (Orla) are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

ACD Systemtechnik GmbH is also certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949. ACD Czech s.r.o. is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 In total, the Group employs approximately 350 people at its two locations and achieved an annual turnover of 65 million EUR in 2014.
