We are looking forward to this year’s European Cancer Summit focused on the most important topics in cancer for a wide-ranging discussion focused on deliveryandcollaboration. In these turbulent times, with huge pressures on cancer services across Europe, we are bringing together leading oncology experts, patient advocates, politicians and policy makers. We have an exciting programme and speaker line-up, so we can discuss the main issues impacting cancer policy, for the benefit of cancer patients, healthcare professionals and all people across Europe.  

This year's Summit will be hosted in Brussels and we look forward to the majority of delegates joining in person, but will also be available to join virtually. We invite everyone interested to save the date – 16 & 17 November 2022.

Every year, at the European Cancer Summit, the European Cancer Organisation brings together leading oncology experts, experienced patient advocates, key opinion leaders, policy makers and politicians to discuss key issues in reducing the burden of cancer, saving, and improving the lives of patients and the public.  

This year’s European Cancer Summit on 16-17 November will focus on the implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the EU Cancer Mission’s recommendations, including through our ten Focused Topic Networks. 

We are planning this year’s Summit as a hybrid event with the majority of speakers and delegates meeting face-to-face in Brussels and others able to join virtually, bringing together the European cancer community including our Member Societies and Patient Advocacy groups. 

The European Cancer Summit is a key event in the cancer policy calendar. Our goal is to showcase the multi-stakeholder, collaborative efforts being made, to ensure tangible results. We believe this exchange will help to improve outcomes for cancer patients and raise awareness of the many significant challenges of cancer.
