Cédric Arcos had left the local authority to join Matignon and the team of Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne. Within the cabinet, he will officiate as a technical health adviser. Until now the president of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse (LR), dealt with policies of solidarity, health, security and modernization


Cédric Arcos was Deputy CEO of the Regional Council of Ile-de-France, Arcos oversaw sports, health, solidarities policies, and public innovation. He was a fervent advocate of the need for a territorial approach to health and solidarity policies, and advice Valérie Pécresse in the deployment of the « region solidaire » program. Being a teacher at Sciences Po Paris, he is a committed actor within the health system. He was Deputy General delegate of the French Hospital Federation and Director of the Academic Hospital of Lyon. 


He took part in a public debate on the transformation of the health system. He is the author of several articles, devoted to hospital reform and managerial ethics. Due to his inclination toward the international scene, the Danish Government appointed him as the Ambassador of his health system in France and was given the responsibility to represent France within the International Hospital Federation.
