It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the 62nd Symposium of the German-speaking Working Group for Hand Surgery (DAH) from May 4th to 6th, 2023 in Bad Homburg vd Höhe, Germany.
Bad Homburg is located in the metropolitan region of Frankfurt a. Main, which is home to almost 6 million people, can be reached from Frankfurt in around 20 minutes by train or car. An important economic factor in Bad Homburg is the spa business, which is based on the numerous existing mineral springs. The center of the spa is the new, post-modern spa building, which also houses the congress center where the DAH conference will take place.
The scientific overarching theme of the 62nd Symposium of the DAH is as follows:
Evidence or eminence in hand surgery: where is the development headed?
We want to devote ourselves to this question in a collegial scientific exchange and have selected the following special topics for this purpose:
- All about the Ellenkopf: Current and proven reconstruction methods
- The treatment of the scaphoid fracture and its late effects
- Soft tissue coverage on the hand - options, strategy, aftercare concepts.
The German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC) will be our guest society at the Symposium in Bad Homburg 2023.
I would be extremely happy if you would spend three exciting days with us in beautiful Bad Homburg. We will certainly find enough opportunities for fruitful scientific, but also personal and friendly conversations.
