In addition, we offer the same basic single and dual stage shredder systems that have been installed with AMSCO (STERIS Corporation) Eagleguard medical waste autoclaves in past years. This proven shredding system can be configured to meet numerous site-specific applications and has been approved to meet the most stringent size reduction (“unrecognizable”) standards that we know of in the country. Red bag medical waste is rendered unrecognizable. All systems are designed for compatibility with various types of sterilization equipment. The Moss Sharps Shredder allows for the safe and efficient destruction of all sharps without the need for operator handling.
