The BeaconMedæs is a regulator with a durable design. It’s built to last, with its cast metal backplate construction and protective housing, which fully encases the gauge. The regulator can withstand stresses that would cause an ordinary plastic regulator to crack. It is also designed to continue operating even when an ordinary regulator would have to be replaced. The vacuum level can be checked from across the room thanks to the large, bright gauge face. There are knobs conveniently located around the structure. Since the BeaconMedaes models are fully modular (a continuous regulator has six modules), they don’t require very much maintenance. If they do need service, the work can be done easily and quickly with ordinary tools and skills. There is no need for one of these models to sit unusable, awaiting repair.
