The Res-Q-Splint Plus is a vacuum splint which has a single inner chamber for selective disbursement of suspended polystyrene spheres. A non-returning valve is incorporated for releasing the air the quickly and this valve is positioned in such a way that it won't affect the placement of the splint. Self-adherent strips are included to enable faster fixation. The Res-Q-Splint kit contains three sizes of splint - small, medium and large - as well as a manual vacuum pump and a tear-proof nylon bag. The ergonomically designed splint benefits from the fact that it does not need to be removed during an X-ray or CAT scan procedure.
