The device is mainly used during laparoscopic tubal occlusion, minilaparotomy, laparoscopy, salphingoplasty, and other fertility exams. The pear-shaped balloon gives optimum hold that could seal the internal OS better. A smaller cannula size can be used for easier insertion.
