The BEU-8600 Ultrasound System has substantial software packages which include Abdomen, OB/GYN, Urology, Cardiology, and many others which provide calculations of fetal age and weight. The user can also acquire measurements of the womb, left/right ovary, indometrium, bladder, left/right kidney, prostate, left/right atrium, left/right ventricle, valve and cardium. The user can also customize 3 to 6 obstetric measurement methods depending on the clinical requirements. Also, when using single B mode, the selected area can be enlarged by holding down the "Zoom In" key. The Enlarged area will then be optimized automatically or the user can activate the Picture In Picture display.
