The first small format thermocycler with TFT touchscreen. 4 versions are available: Thermocycler compact, Thermocycler compact Gradient, Thermocycler compact Gradient with silver block. The Intersystem-Copy-Function allows data exchange with Thermocycler Basic and Gradient. Thermocycler compact has an aluminium block with 48 wells for 0.2 ml tubes in an array of 6 × 8. Working with single tubes and stripes is possible. Heating rates are up to 3.5 °C/s, and cooling rates 3.2 °C/s. Thermocycler compact Gradient has the additional option of a gradient: 8 zones, 20 °C, up to ± 10 °C from the center of the block. Thermocyler compact Gradient has a gold plated silver block, allowing heating and cooling rates in excess of 5 °C/s. With gradient: 8 zones, 20 °C, up to ± 10 °C from the center of the block.
