PROVEN OSTEOCONDUCTOR The interconnected porous geometry of ßGran® is controlled to allow rapid vascularization, the material surface is optimized to assist cell attachment and to function as a template to guide bone regeneration. PHYSIOLOGICAL RESORPTION The microporous surface of ßGran® is optimized for early cell attachment. The highly pure beta-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP) responds to the osteoclastic mediated resorption at a physiologic rate. The maximized surface area produces a balanced resorption rate. BIOCOMPATIBILitY ßGran® has been thoroughly evaluated and complies with the recognized international standards for biological evaluation of medical devices ISO 10993. 100% SYNTHETIC ßGran® is manufactured using pharmaceutical grade elements to exclude any possibility of allogenic / xenogenic contamination.
