The most critical part of an MRI shield system is the door, the only moving part of the entire RF shield. NELCO Guardian Doors are designed, manufactured, and installed to withstand high traffic and meet the demanding specifications required by all MRI equipment manufacturers. The door and frame assembly provide RF integrity while presenting the overall appearance of a conventional medical facility door. Full RF attenuation is achieved by a continuous RF door seal around the entire perimeter of the door. NELCO RF door systems allow for easy patient transport and are suitable for use in new RF shield enclosures and/or upgraded facilities.
