It also displays the actual infusion status, how much has gone into the patient and also how much is remaining, without any interruption. Infusion and related clinical parameters are displayed in graphical and relational form. With CareAware iAware the data is sent through the pump to the patient?s medical record and, with Millennium, the records are subsequently documented into electronic medical records. It links the patient to a specific infusion device and orders medication that will be infused by the device and this data from the device gets recorded into the patient?s record.
