The IN-PORT system is compact Poly Oxy Methylene injection port that offers ease of implantation into patients subcutaneously to allow for the repeated deliver of chemotherapy agents for cancer patients, as well as patients needing repeated antibiotics, blood products or blood sampling. The port makes for easier access directly to the veins without that patient having to endure repeated injections and allows them to lead a normal daily life between treatments. The IN-PORT comes complete with a self-sealing silicone septum, and a silicone delivery catheter. The injection area has been designed to be as large as possible and the patient can undergo at least 1,000 injections with non-coring 22 gauge needles before the port will need to be replaced.
