The DDR MAK-1500 Digital Radiology System is a combination ceiling mounted and dual bucky stand system. The configuration of the system alone makes it ideal for use in trauma centers and emergency departments, as well as for general radiology applications. The ceiling-suspension X-ray tube and telescopic arm enable highly accurate position settings with a minimum of effort. System settings can easily be made by the operator regardless as to whether the patient is in a standing, sitting, or lying position. A key feature of this multi-purpose digital system is its large imaging area. The DDR MAK-1500 has an imaging area that measures 17 x 17 inches (43 x 43 cm) and is capable of capturing images in both landscape and portrait formats. The DDR MAK-1500 is lower in cost than comparable systems, and the faster exam times it provides translates into greater patient throughput.
