The Cephasonics cQUB-1 (cQuest Ultrasound Box 1) is the first product in a family of cQUB™ white-label ultrasound systems designed and manufactured by Cephasonics for purchase by companies to rebrand with their own brand name and model number. All Cephasonics white-label systems are built to the same high-quality standards as Cephasonics branded counterparts. The cQUB-1 is a complete 64:192 (channels: multiplexed channels) ultrasound system with an integrated computer that has a connection on one end to an ultrasound transducer. It is available with a simple clinical user interface that can be displayed on an iPad mini™ using cQLink™ wireless technology. The entire system is fully encased in a tough industrial-plastic enclosure with a sturdy handle for portability. It adapts to any setting, including pole mounting in either vertical or horizontal configurations. The cQuest Ultrasound API™ software provided with the system is a set of C++ libraries and header files providing user access to 1000s of system parameters. It is used to acquire data from and control all Cephasonics cQuest platforms while abstracting the underlying hardware. The system hardware includes the ultrasound transmit and receive analog, digital, and power circuitry including the award-winning AutoFocus™ beamforming technology.
