The CNS Monitor was designed specifically for electroencephalography monitoring in the neuroscience intensive care unit. Each CNS Monitor includes an EEG amplifier for continuous monitoring of raw and processed EEG. An optional camera captures video, which is time-synchronized for artifact identification or other uses. CNS EEG displays have configurable time and amplitude scales and adjustable frequency filter settings. Split-screen comparative displays allow clinicians to view EEG values at two different points in time to assess changes in the patient’s neurological state.
