MARTY is a chair with revolutionary design and based on multiple technological innovations. This chair is intended to offer comfortable sitting which marks the intention of excellence. Its superior class is observed in every small detail of its structure which enables it to be a chair out of the ordinary. The height of the seat is 440 mm from ground level. The uniqueness lies in its single spring mechanism which allows tilting of the seat. This, in turn, allows lifting of the terminal part of the heel support further by 250 mm enabling easier descent of the patient from the seated position. Movement of the chair is operated by low voltage electrical actuators which offer an excursion of 460 mm in 18 seconds. The seat of the chair rotates at an angle of 45° in both left and right sides. The lock and release for better positioning is done through a new threaded pressure pad micro-mechanical system. The backrest part can be rotated maximum at an an of 180°. In its basic version the chair is servo-assisted via gas-spring.
