The VasoScreen 2000 is developed and designed to enable a simultaneous oscillometric 4-channel blood pressure measurement on arms and ankles or optionally on arms and toes for peripheral vascular disease (PVD) diagnosis. To continue, the pulse curves measured on the ankles are analysed and the propagation times of the pulse waves are evaluated. Moreover, there are also advantages in contrast to doppler ABI measurement, such as an examination independent method and an automatic parameter calculation. The results of the examination can be available within 3-4 minutes, thus this process is ideal for process control of the peripheral vascular disease. It is also a Windows-based analysis software and is dedicated for the detection of mediasclerosis and subclavia occlusion.
