The diagnostic slides have wells, realized with a hydrophobic coating of epoxy resin or teflon. They have 90*ground edge. They may be used with immunohistochemical techniques, immunofluorescence, and immunolabelling with histological sections or cellular coltures. The slides coated with teflon can be sterilized in autoclave. The diagnostic slides resist to enzymatic treatments and microwaves (recommended power: 750 - 800 watt).
