When his Déjà-vu stools were first shown, Naoto Fukasawa was upset because people sat on them. Another designer pointed out that this was a good thing, and the concept of "super normal"—pieces that "add something to the atmosphere of our homes and that we'd miss the most if they disappeared"—was born. Simple, elemental, comfortable—the Déjà-vu stool is fashioned from extruded aluminum. Available in three finishes—polished aluminum, black, and white—and three heights—19.7, 26, and 29.9 inches. So there's one for every use you might have for a stool.
