The GREINER careLine hv can be adjusted to place a patient in either a sitting or a lying position. The chair is also height adjustable over a range of 20 cm. The adjustable three-part sitting area facilitates getting in or out of the chair, which can be made even easier by moving the armrests, which can be fully folded in. The careLine hv can therefore be adjusted both from the standpoint of comfort and of functionality. The backrest can be inclined 10 degrees in the forward position to facilitate movement from a sitting to a standing position. Backward inclination when the chair is in a horizontal configuration allows the patient to assume either a more relaxed position or be placed in a Trendelenburg position if necessary for treatment or therapy.
